With an ambitious programme comprising over 50 performances, the 34th edition of Cistermúsica – Alcobaça Music Festival once again offers a wide range of cultural events to suit all tastes, with a strong focus on classical music – from early to contemporary – complemented by other musical genres and artistic expressions.
From grand symphonic concerts to more intimate performances, we will have events in the privileged spaces of the Alcobaça Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as in open-air venues such as the Cerca and the monastery’s cloisters, not forgetting the iconic Montebelo Alcobaça Monastery Historic Hotel.
