With a successful career, conductor Thibaut Desormeaux was a fulfilled man who was happy with his life until he was diagnosed with leukaemia. Whilst undergoing tests to find a compatible bone marrow donor, he discovers he was adopted and that he has a brother called Jimmy who lives in the north of France. Jimmy is a modest, somewhat rough-around-the-edges factory worker who, as a hobby, plays the trombone in a brass band. They are clearly different, except in one respect: their love of music. When the conductor of Jimmy’s band leaves without explanation, Thibaut agrees to take over. This is how the two brothers become close friends and find themselves making up for lost time. Nominated for eight Césars, the most prestigious awards in French cinema, this drama is directed by Emmanuel Courcol, who co-wrote the screenplay with Khaled Amara and Oriane Bonduel. Benjamin Lavernhe and Pierre Lottin take on the lead roles.
